Reverend Dr. Joy Anwuli Nwachukwu Ph.D. M.Div, MBA, MS. The General Overseer And Shepherd Leader of Divine Soldiers of Christ Nation Church is a native of Nigeria, is an ordained Itinerant Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church, having accepted the call to preach in 2011 at Reid Temple A.M.E. Church, Glenn Dale, Maryland under the pastoral leadership of Rev. Dr. Lee P. Washington. She served as a ministerial staff at Reid Temple A.M.E. Church in Glenn Dale, Maryland for 24 pulse years, before she answers a call from God to go and start off the Divine Soldiers of Christ Nation Church officially online on August 30, 2020. She is a wife and the proud mother of five boys, one girl, and a granddaughter.

Rev. Dr. Joy began her undergraduate schooling at the University of Maryland, University College where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 2006. She continued on to receive a Dual Masters, in Master of Science Degree in Human Resources and a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Maryland University College in 2007. Rev. Dr. Joy continued on to receive a Master of Divinity Degree from Payne Theological Seminary in 2017.

Rev. Dr. Joy was a faculty member of the Reid Temple Faith and Finance, Patricia Clark Christian Institute, Membership to Discipleship, Foundations of Our Faith, and Sunday School. She was a contributing writer to ''The Membership to Discipleship Manual'' and Foundations of Our Faith Guide. Rev. Dr. Joy is a gifted communicator, life coach, teacher, mentor, musician, actor, and author. She is a voracious reader and studies to empower men, women, youth, and all others all over the world.

Rev. Dr. Joy has thought all types of classes in Reid Temple AME church for the past 10-24 years for adults before she left the church for the call of God to move forward to start off a new deliverance church called Divine Soldiers of Christ Nation Church (DSCNC). She has also been reading the whole bible from Genesis to Revelation Constantly and that has given her knowledge and competence of interpreting, teaching, and preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Rev. Dr. Joy, a Shepherd leader is constantly looking for ways to not only spread the Word of God but also uplift the minds and hearts of people around the world. She remains in God's love by obeying His commands, studying the Bible, and having a consistent relationship with Him. She is very committed to studying God's Word that for the past ten years she has been sending out "Morning Coffee Scriptures" to about 10,000 people all over the world including some members of Reid Temple church who have been fed spiritually with the Word of God. God Almighty birthed this vision in her due to her burning desire to see much love and depend on the Word of God. "The Bible" constantly, that motivated her to write her three books. Morning Coffee Scriptures, Prayer Is The Key, and The Faithfulness Of God,'' Rev. Dr. Joy's preaching and teaching gifts span all generations. She travels throughout the nation and internationally to lead, pray, and speak at revivals, conferences, and worship services. Rev. Dr. Joy can be found leading adults and youth alike in innovative styles of worship.

Rev. Dr. Joy is the founder and Executive Director of (COFAAD ) Compatriot Organization for Advancement & Development, a non-profit organization whose mission is to render humanitarians services, such as education, health assistance, life skills, human rights, and care for the widows, orphans and less privileged young people throughout the nation and internationally.

Most of all, Reverend Dr. Joy is "sold out" to God, she is a worshiper and prayer warrior, she loves the Lord Jesus Christ. Two of her guiding scriptures come from (Psalm 119:105) " Your Word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path." (Matthew 6:33) "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. (Romans 1:16)
